Leap for Levi this September to fundraise for kids with devastating brain cancer

Every jump counts

Since The Jungle doors opened, we have been wanting to contribute to a meaningful charity and the decision to support a charity close to our own heart was a simple one.

Levi’s Project was started by Mum and Dad Team, Ben and Kathryn, family friends of The Jungle owners, Lachlan and Jana Walker.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and to raise awareness and funds for kids with this devastating brain cancer, The Jungle is turning orange with a new Leap for Levi Jungle Jump Bag and fundraising initiative for Levi’s Project.

Levi's Story

Levi was a typical eight-year-old boy who loved soccer, his friends and his family. Levi was kind and caring. Playful and fun. Silly yet sweet. He had a cheeky grin that could lighten your mood and big brown eyes that drew you in. He loved his family, his friends and soccer in equal measure.

On 20 December 2017, Ben and Kathryn’s son Levi was diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer, only one month and five days after his 7th birthday. On New Year’s Eve 2018, having endured 372 days of relentless medical treatment, Levi passed away.

About Levi's Project

Ben and Kathryn have since established Levi’s Project, a world-leading research initiative by scientists at Children’s Cancer Institute which aims to develop Australia’s first-ever treatment program for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a devastating brain cancer. The survival rate for DIPG is currently 0%, meaning all children with this disease will die, usually within a year of diagnosis. So far, Levi’s Project has raised over $3 million for brain cancer research.

Throughout September, 50% of Jungle Jump ticket sales will be donated to Levi’s Project. Launching yourself into mid-air, with a giant inflatable bag to cushion your impact, you summon deep reserves of courage to fly into the void! Challenge yourself over three different platforms 2.5m, 5m or the 7.5m platform for maximum thrills.
